Effect of Music on Sleep Disorders-A Review

Abstract


Word Sangeet consists the art of singing, dancing and playing an instrument which captures the emotion and vibrations of the listeners. The vibrations of the sound stimulate and smoothens the mind of listener. During ancient time music is used to stimulate the velour of the soldiers during war time. On the other hand sedative or relaxing music reduces heart rate, blood pressure and provides calm and relief in various psychological disorders. Hence this paper is aimed of reviewing the utility of music in sleep disorders.
